6 THE POWER OF AGREEMENT

18:18-20
"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind
on earth will be bound in heaven, and
whatever you loose on earth will be
loosed in heaven.
Again, I tell you that if two of you on
earth agree about anything you ask for,
it will be done for you by my Father in
heaven. For where two or three come
together in my name, there am I with
them."
1 Peter 3:7
Husbands, in the same way be considerate
as you live with your wives, and treat
them with respect as the weaker partner
and as heirs with you of the gracious
gift of life, so that nothing will
hinder your prayers.
The
teaching of the Bible is very clear.
When two or three gather together in His
name, Jesus will be right there. When
two of you on earth agree about anything
in your prayers, Jesus promises He will
do it for you. Make sure you start your
day with prayers with your spouse.
Husbands must take initiatives. A
husband is a priest in the family. His
solemn responsibility is to lead his
family in worship, prayers, and a study
of the Bible.
