Lesson 1     TEN EPHESIANS PRINCIPLES

The Ten Successful Principles found in the Letter to the Ephesians for Abundant Relationships are as follows::

1.  CULTIVATE HUMILITY

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.  Ephesians 4:2

2.  CULTIVATE HONESTY

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.   Ephesians 4:15

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.         Ephesians 4:25

3.  RESOLVE ANGER DAILY

“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.”  Ephesians 4:26

4.  CULTIVATE WHOLESOME TALK

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.         Ephesians 4:29

5.  DISCARD THE SOURCES OF BITTERNESS

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.  Ephesians 4:31

6. CULTIVATE FORGIVENESS

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.   Ephesians 4:32

7.  CULTIVATE SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18

8.  CULTIVATE THE ATTITUDE OF REVERENCE

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Ephesians 5:21

9.  CULTIVATE A LOVING RELATIONSHIP

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.              Ephesians 5:25

10.  CULTIVATE HONORING YOUR PARENTS

“Honor your father and mother”-which is the first commandment with a promise- “that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
Ephesians 6:1-3
